NOT A SOS! NOT MY IWO JIMA!

Captain heads for Mother Island to look at Breast Mountain?

Captain McCandless is steering straight towards Hahajima Island 母島, meaning "Mother Island" in Japanese and the tallest mountain on the island is known as Chibusayama, (literally "Breast Mountain").
